Petch Osathanugrah, one of the finest and most outstanding singer-songwriters in today’s music scene, is an artist with a mysterious persona and one of a kind music career.
His first album Thammada..Mun Pen Ruang Thammada (released in September 1987) was a ground-breaking record that had inspired a whole generation of musicians and songwriters with its innovative electro-pop songs that was far ahead of its time, and has proved to be remarkably strong and timeless even today.
He started to write songs at the age of 12. While studying in a university in the U.S., he wrote a song in English called I’m Just a Man, which later
became Pieng Chai Kon Nee (Mai Chai Pu Wiset) when he put Thai lyrics to it while making his first album.
